Illustrating Our Way to Better Self-Talk

In a new study, researchers discovered that when people refer to themselves by their own name or third-person pronouns, it helps them gain psychological distance from negative self-talk—enough to boost their emotional control in a big way. Join us for a night of Learning and practicing the reframing of negative thoughts/feelings into positive and productive framework.

What you’ll make:  Hand-lettered and illustrated quotes, affirmations, and mantras made in gel pens, ink, and other markers on cardstock.

What to expect: Build and discover your own unique hand lettering style using embellishments to decorate and frame your lettering
